Linking tastemakers, artists, and collectors through a thread of old and new.

LINDA PORDON, Founder, Photographer, Curator

  • Linda Pordon has been an antique hunter since her childhood, with fond memories of wandering places near and far in search of unique items with a story. Her favorite early expeditions were exploring the vast antique warehouses in the suburbs of New Orleans filled with old southern treasures. Her aunt would tell her to pick "a few items to collect that make you happy" and always look for them wherever you go.

Brass bells, worn wood, oil paintings, handmade vases and candlesticks…she may have chosen more than a few things to love for life.

Linda is an interior and commercial photographer who pairs her love for vintage items with gorgeous design and styling to translate on-camera for her commercial clients.

In her former life, she was a corporate executive spending 20 years in finance, marketing and strategy focused on customer needs and luxury markets.

CLARK ADAMS, Photographer

  • Clark Adams balances technicality and creativity throughout all walks of life. From cycling to fly fishing, baking/cooking and gardening, Clark finds a way to express himself in a creative way outside of being behind a camera.

After bouncing around in the commercial industry, Clark finds himself most at home in a large studio. Inspired by many things around him, he carries moments from the real world back into the studio with him.

Though the studio is his favorite, you can always find a point and shoot camera in his pocket to capture whatever happenings present themselves at any given time.

CASSIE CAVALLO, Curator

  • Cassie loves hosting of all kinds, believing it to be an art worth practicing & a way to show guests that you appreciate them. By putting together a beautiful table and designing a warm and welcoming ambiance you are sharing a piece of your home and self with others. She believes in surrounding herself with things she loves and creating beauty in her home through the curation of interesting pieces collected over time during travel, antiquing & good old fashion late-night online shopping.

Cassie will share her finds with others any chance she gets. Her long experience as a nurse in plastic surgery helped her to see the importance in small details & to find and cultivate beauty in any place.

JENNIFER GALIK, Curator

  • Jennifer has worked as a buyer in the fashion industry for more than 20 years, and has a long love for finding beautiful things.

Jennifer developed her appreciation of stylish, one-of-a-kind pieces as a young girl when she spent many weekends antique hunting with her grandparents. Her grandfather, an expert carpenter and woodworker, would find timeless objects in need of a little TLC, meticulously restore them, and resell them at antiques shows in and around the Hudson Valley. Thanks to his influence, Jennifer developed an incredible eye for valuable vintage items and has built quite a nice collection for her own home.

Jennifer’s ability to recognize exceptional pieces was fine-tuned during her time at New York School of interior design, and further enhanced by working with her father who deals in handmade, high-end rugs. Jennifer has many cherished pieces in her home, but her most beloved are her husband, their children, and their French Bulldog, Henri.

JOE LIPARI, Potter

  • Joe Lipari is a proud Point Pleasant Beach NJ native and owner of Point Pleasant Pottery. In April 2020, he channeled his passion for pottery and founded a humble small business in the heart of his hometown, just one block from the beach.

Joe draws inspiration from his upbringing in his small, bustling beach community, where the ocean and sand attract visitors from all over the east coast. He operates from a simple home studio where he crafts pottery, takes memorable photographs of his work, and teaches pottery lessons.

Joe specializes in custom New Jersey-themed work, dinnerware sets, and unique, functional pottery for the home.

OVI PAULTER, Painter

  • Ovi Paulter is a classic painter from Lithuania now residing in New Jersey for over 20 years with her husband and 3 children. Her hope is to bring beauty and joy to spaces through floral still life oil paintings. Ovi paints in a classic style enhanced with vivid colors and bold brushstrokes.

Ovi’s Lithuanian grandmother had a lush garden and a little house she used to stay at each summer. Every time she paints a flower, she experiences the smell, beauty, and emotion of the strong connection to her mamute (her loving name for her grandmother).

Each painting has a special meaning and reflects Ovi’s heart in some way.

RACHEL SAOUD, Curator

  • Rachel might have been in her stroller with directions to an amazing estate sale. It was not uncommon for her mother and aunt to push her to estate/tag sales only to come home and partake in their favorite past time of rearranging the furniture.

Rachel, who continues the hunt mostly with her sister at estate sales, is often asked, “Are you looking for anything in particular?” To which she responds, “Not really, but I’ll know it when I see it.” Finding a find switches a switch inside of her that makes all the searching worthwhile.

Rachel is a former pastry chef/cake decorator with a drive to create — be it paintings, pottery, cuisine, or decor.

CHRISTINE STEIDEL, Curator

  • Christine has had a passion and appreciation for antiques for many years. For a long time, it manifested itself as a love for her mom's vintage Calvin Klein jeans and the perfect consignment blouse. While she still enjoys the magic of finding a well-loved fair isle sweater, she now finds herself focused more on treasure hunting for home goods. “I can’t tell you the joy I find in the back corner of a dusty store searching for the perfect horse statue. For me, a home should not only reflect what you love, but also be a balance of ‘old meets new’."

Christine worked as a sales consultant for Novartis for eight years prior to growing her family (by four). With all of her children in school for the first time, she recently began working part-time for a local real estate team, Fox & Stokes. “I’m enjoying this season of rediscovering some of my buried talents and passions. I will always be a wife and mom first… but this is fun, too”.
